Think Engineering 2018

11th Annual Networking Event

Think Engineering is an annual networking event organized by the IEEE Student Branches at UBC, SFU, and BCIT in conjunction with the UBC ECE Student Society. We strive to connect between industry and promising, enthusiastic students.

We are pleased to announce the eleventh annual Think Engineering event, which will be held on January 26, 2018 at the Sheraton Wall Centre, from 5 PM to 10 PM.

Tickets for students are $20 for IEEE student members and $25 for student non-members. Tickets for industry representatives are $80.

Tickets are limited so get yours soon! Students can purchase their ticket at MacLeod 319 located on the UBC Vancouver Campus or student online. If you are an IEEE student member, please email abigail.climacosa@ieee.org with a verification of your IEEE student membership (IEEE membership card) to obtain the student membership discount. Industry representatives can purchase their tickets online at industry representative online. Once you have purchased your ticket, please remember to fill out the appropriate form: (student registration form or industry representative registration form). A networking workshop is available for students in preparation for the event and will happen on the evening of January 19, 2018 on the UBC Vancouver Campus. The exact place and time will be announced shortly. The dress code for the event is business formal. Additionally, there is no need for resumes, but bringing business cards is recommended.
